Mental Health Refresher: Spring Cleaning


Spring is here!!! I love when seasons change. Everyone puts such emphasis on “new year, new me” but there are so many other “news” that you get throughout the year. How about new season, new you? I’m making it happen, it’s a thing.


I remember putting a lot of weight on the phrase spring cleaning. Even when I was a teenager, I would take the opportunity to clean my closet or rearrange my room. As an adult, I do no different.


The way my anxiety is set up, if my space is a mess, my mind is a mess. If my room is disorganized or even too cluttered, I literally cannot focus and my productivity will decrease. If you're someone who takes a lot of pride in making sure their living spaces / work spaces are neat and clean (whatever that looks like for you), you may be the same.


This was just a quick refresher to remind you that if your mind has been feeling a little cluttered, it may be time to declutter your space, and what better time, than Spring, with a little Spring Cleaning!
